What is Pyth Network?

Pyth Network is a decentralized oracle and market-data network bringing real-world financial prices on-chain. Publishers submit data directly; Pyth aggregates and delivers deterministic feeds across 100+ blockchains.

What problem does Pyth Network solve?

Blockchains cannot natively observe exchange prices. Pyth provides direct-source, cross-chain data with confidence intervals for DeFi applications needing timely, accurate prices.

How does Pyth Network work?

Publishers submit prices and confidence intervals to Pythnet. Aggregation uses three votes per publisher and median/percentile algorithms. Cross-chain delivery uses Wormhole (upgrading to router quorum). PYTH is governance token with Oracle Integrity Staking.
