What is Railgun?
RAILGUN is an on-chain privacy system for Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Arbitrum. It uses zero-knowledge cryptography for private transfers, swaps, and DeFi calls. RAIL is the governance/security token, not a privacy coin.
What problem does Railgun solve?
Public blockchains expose transaction graphs and balances. RAILGUN provides privacy on existing EVM chains without moving to a separate privacy chain.
How does Railgun work?
Tokens are shielded into encrypted UTXOs in a private Merkle tree. ZK proofs verify transactions without revealing details. Broadcasters submit transactions for 0zk users. RAIL holders lock for governance votes.
